Einar in Mallorca

You know how we’ve been telling you how popular Mallorca is right now with Scandinavians wanting to make commercials and using our Picture Perfect Service to capture great content? Well, we have even more evidence of this being true; we recently worked with Norwegian outfit, Einar Film & Fortellinger.

The 3 day shoot was on behalf of Hei!, a Norwegian advertising agency. Einar brought with them the talented Morten Tyldum (known for his controversial film ‘”Buddy”) to direct the shoot, he was supported by Anders Flatland (DOP) and Aksel Jermstad (Producer).

PRAVDA shoot in Mallorca

Right now Mallorca is hot in Scandinavia, every day our multi-lingual International Sales Team are managing bids and enquiries from the region. This resulted in us working with PRAVDA last week.

The Norwegian production company have actually worked with us once before, back in 2010, when they made this commercial.

FLX in Mallorca

As we’ve said before, one of our greatest pleasures is to see clients return to work with us. It demonstrates to us that both Mallorca (as a shooting destination) and our Picture Perfect Service has impressed them. We know we work in an ultra competitive environment which is why we work hard to provide a top notch service to all of our clients and why we’re delighted to be headquartered in Mallorca – the island is such a great location in which to shoot; short travel times, great light for shooting and awesome weather.

So, having worked with them twice last year, we were delighted to work again with Swedish production company FLX. Director for the shoot was the talented Mans Herngren, who is also an actor. Goran Hallberg was the DOP and Simon Hernadi the Producer.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. The film we have made to celebrate our new production base in Barcelona and expansion onto mainland Spain contains around 63 different shots. How much does that make it worth?

We think it says a lot about our favourite big city, and how it makes us feel. There is so much diversity, a new opportunity at every turn. We think it says a lot about us as filmmakers. Barcelona – our favourite big city

The only thing we love more than making great content for our clients, is making fantastic content for ourselves. If you’ve been following our Barcelona blog then you already know we recently took the keys to our new production office in Barcelona, our favourite big city, and to coincide with this significant event we produced a film to let people know that Palma Pictures has arrived in Barcelona.

Film Produkcja in Mallorca

This week we had one of the largest and most experienced production houses in Polish advertising come to Mallorca.

Film Produkcja have been operating (under different names) since 1985 but this was their first visit to our island. Piotr Rzeplinski was the director for the one day shoot, supported by Katarzyna Jenkner (producer) and Witold Plociennik (DOP).

Cristiano Ronaldo vs Rafa Nadal in Mallorca

A few weeks ago the Palma Pictures offices were buzzing when we realised that we would be helping to make an advert for Nike that featured not one international superstar but two.

Local hero Rafa Nadal is becoming something of a fixture at the office as we now frequently shoot with him but the excitement remains and this time it was intensified as the shoot also featured Cristiano Ronaldo.

To make the ad we worked with UK production company Rogue Films.

E+P Commercial in Mallorca

This week E+P Commercial, one of the biggest production companies in Germany, once again returned to film in Mallorca.

The director for the shoot was the talented Billy Pols (you should check out his documentary Plank about a Moroccan skateboarder). Jean-Noel Mustonen was the DOP.

E+P frequently shoot in Mallorca, attracted by the variety of shooting locations and the convenience of being a short flight away. They like working with us because of our Picture Perfect Service, knowing that we work hard to deliver extra value for them and that our 20 year history means we have a solution for anything that they may throw at us.

Filmmaster return to Mallorca

As we’ve mentioned before here on the news blog, we love it when clients return to Mallorca, and use our production services to help them capture content, as it shows that our Picture Perfect Service offering has worked.

So we were delighted to see Filmmaster Spain, part of the Italian production company, return to our island.

They last worked with us in November. The talented Belgian, Xavier Mairesse, was the director for the shoot, supported by Denis Rouden (DOP) and Roberto Serna (Producer).
