At Palma Pictures we care deeply about the environment. We also view it as our responsibility to help protect the beautiful island of Mallorca that provides the backdrop to so much of our filming activity.

We are aware that our sector, like all others to a greater or lesser degree, has an impact on the environment and with that in mind we decided to change the way we do things. To highlight our commitment, in 2008 we created our Sustainability Department and since its launch we have been busy developing an Environmental Management System, which has now been introduced. We have just been awarded an ISO 14001 (International Organization for Standardization certificate for environmental practices) and EMAS (the corresponding EU Eco Management & Audit Scheme certificate).

Many of you know Tracy Courtney as one of our Line Producers. She is now proud to also be our Sustainability Project Manager and would gladly welcome any suggestions or comments from all parties that can help us reduce our environmental impact.
